Beta Club

Dr. Angel Holland

Congratulations to the newest members of the 2019/2020 Beta Club!
About the Junior Beta & Community Service:
The Junior Beta Club is a service organization. The national motto is “Let Us Lead By Serving Others”. Because of this we have several service projects each year. In recent years we have raised over $3,000 for Hunger in Rockingham County; we have donated coats for the “Give a Kid a Coat” campaign; and we have provided snack boxes for fire and law enforcement departments in Rockingham County.
This school year (2015-2016), we have had a Hunger Walk for Rockingham County for which our members asked for donations. They raised over $4,000. We sang at a nursing home at Christmas and made cards for the residents. We decorated the school lunchroom for Valentine’s Day and St. Patrick’s Day. This spring they will have a walk for the Barry Joyce Cancer Foundation for which they will be receiving donations.
