If you have not turned in your proof of residence, please do so ASAP. You can use a utility bills or your drivers license.
Parents please be aware that it is very important that your child attend school every day. This time of the year students are reviewing for the End –of-the- year testing.
APRIL 21ST 8th Grade NC LIFE PRESENTATION
This NC Life Presentation is a colonial project set in the late 1700’s in the state of North Carolina. The student presentations will take place,1:15 on Friday in the library. Please join us.
APRIL 23RD FREE TENNIS PLAY DAY FROM ROCKINGHAM COUNTY
This Sunday, April 23, students age 6-18 are invited to join the Rockingham County Tennis Association for a FREE Tennis Play Day at the Jaycee Park tennis courts in Reidsville from 3:00-4:30 p.m. Players should have played tennis before, but match experience is not required. Rackets are available for players to use or they may bring their own.

APRIL 27TH BCMS ANNUAL ROBOT NIGHT FROM 5:30 TO 7:30 PM
Join us in the BCMS Library for our Annual ROBOT NIGHT on April 27th from 5:30 p.m. -7:30 p.m.! Fresh from our Sumo Bot Competition at Appalachian State University, our BCMS Robotics team will perform various demonstrations, including sumo competitions. We will also be joined by the First Robotics Team, The Hot Bots, who will be bringing their much larger robot! Demonstrations will be in the library, followed by a covered-dish dinner 6:30-7:30, and students interested in joining the First Lego League Robotics Club next year are encouraged to attend. REQUESTING 34 PROCTORS
We currently have 11 proctors and hope to gain 34 more. May 15 is covered and we are requesting additional volunteers on May 16, 17, and May 18 as well as for the make-up test sessions. We ask for your consideration and, if available to proctor, please complete and return the enclosed Test Proctor Volunteer form or visit the school website (www.bcschoolnc.org) to complete the Test Proctor Volunteer form online. Ultimately, we will need 45 proctors during four days of assessments. Friends, family members, and co-workers can all assist if they are 21 or older. PARENTS: Please check the Wolf Pouch to see if your child has any lunch room charges and send the money Friday. Charges need to be paid as soon as possible. PLEASE remember the maximum amount your child is allowed to charge is $6.00. After that your child will no longer be able to charge.
Please turn your Wolf Pouch in on Friday. All of the lunches have to be ordered a day ahead. If you turn your pouch in late there is a chance you will not get what you ordered.
We are all excited about the move to our new school, but we need your help. PTSO has initiated the Adopt-a-Room program. We are encouraging families to adopt a room to help teachers get their room packed to move. If interested, email Angel Holland at firstname.lastname@example.org. She will send you the Google Spreadsheet to sign up.
