JANUARY LUNCH ORDERS
Parents, please make sure that any lunch orders on ORGS are in no later than January 2nd so your child can have lunch the week of January 6th.
Progress Reports go home today. Please review your student’s grades with them, sign the reports, and send them back with your student as soon as possible.
11TH GRADE ACT TESTING
The 11th grade students will be completing the ACT on February 25. Students taking the ACT may leave school once all testing is finished. As we get closer to the date, more information will follow. We will also need proctors to assist with testing. Please consider volunteering.
Enrollment for the 2020-2021 school year begins on January 2, 2020.
TIS THE SEASON…COLD AND FLU SEASON THAT IS!
As I am sure many of you are aware there are a lot of cold and flu symptoms going around right now. Symptoms may include: fever, chills, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, muscle or body aches, headaches, and fatigue.
MIDDLE SCHOOL YEARBOOKS ON SALE NOW!
Yearbooks are now officially on sale for middle school students. If your child is in grades 6-8, please go online to yearbookordercenter.com using the following order #: 20830. Cost is $26 until December 31st. After this date, the price will increase to $31. Personalization can be added for an additional fee of $2.50. If you wish to order via check or cash, please fill out a form and give the form and the money to Ms. Widerman. Ads for the yearbook are also on sale. A quarter page is $5, and a half page is $10. Ad space is limited and they are on a first come first serve basis. Please turn in a picture with the message and money included.

Personal and business ads can also be ordered through the same website, and range from $25 – $200. Proceeds from ad sales help support our yearbook program. INCLEMENT WEATHER NOTIFICATIONS
BCS typically follows the Rockingham County Schools’ inclement weather schedule. Families will receive a robocall with information regarding delays or cancellations. Additionally, we post this information to WFMY News 2, Fox 8 News, WXII News 12, and the Bethany Community School PTSO Facebook page.
