Did you know… Rising 11th grade students can qualify to begin taking tuition-free, career and technical education-focused courses that lead to certifications in Agribusiness (pending state approval), Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Basics (HVAC), Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Early Childhood Education, Web Technologies, and Welding through the Rockingham Community College/Bethany Community School Partnership.

All sports pictures except, soccer, will be taken on March 5th. The soccer pictures will be taken on March 21st.
March 5 – High School Information Session
Rising 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students and their families are invited to attend an information session to learn more about the Rockingham Community College/Bethany Community School Partnership. The information session is from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5th at Bethany Community School. Families and students will learn more about the partnership, including course offerings, qualifying standards, and necessary steps towards earning career and technical certifications and an associate’s degree. This information session is focused on rising 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students.
March 7 – ENROLLMENT OPEN HOUSE
First time visitors who are interested in attending Bethany Community School are invited to attend our Enrollment Open House on Thursday, March 7th from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. We encourage our students and families currently attending BCS to invite friends, family members, and neighbors to attend and learn more about our school. We are accepting new students for the 2019-2020 academic year in grades 6-11.
STUDENT PICK UP AND TRANSPORTATION CALLS
Due to the length of the car line and being able to exit the school, we are asking that no student be checked out after 2:00 pm. Also, if you need to change your child’s transportation, please call the office before 2:00 pm. Thank you.

SAGEBRUSH STEAKHOUSE IN REIDSVILLE HELPS SUPPORT BCS ATHLETICS
Beginning February 5th Sagebrush Steakhouse will be donating 10% of all sales to the BCS athletic booster club. This is a great opportunity to eat good food and support our school. All you have to do is eat and inform your server that you are with BCS. Come out the first Tuesday of every month and support BCS.
SCHOOL SPIRIT NIGHT AT ELIZABETH’S PIZZA IN WENTWORTH
Come out and enjoy some pizza while raising money for the BCS Weight Room. Spirit night is held every 4th Monday of the month at 5:30 and 10% of all proceeds go the BCS. The next Spirit Nights will be held on January 28th, February 25th, March 25th, April 22nd and May 27th, from 5:00 to 9:00 pm.

ON-LINE LUNCH ORDERING REMINDER
In order for your child to receive lunch through the ORGS system, you have to order the week before and no later than midnight Thursday. If your order does not go through please call the school and get a paper menu for your child.
