INCLEMENT WEATHER MAKE-UP DAY
June 3rd will be the last day of school and an early release day.

RETURNING STUDENT CONFIRMATION AND SIBLING ENROLLMENT
Returning Student Confirmation and Sibling Enrollment are due January 23rd. Please enroll siblings, who are new applicants online through the Lotto Ease Program website at www.bcschoolnc.org.

JANUARY 24TH-PTSO MEETING
PTSO will meet January 24th at 6:30 pm. The meeting will be held prior to the band concert.

NC Check-In Assessment #2
Middle school students will participate in the second round of NC Check-In assessments on the following dates. (Adjusted due to recent inclement weather)

7th Grade
January 17 – Reading
January 22 – Math

8th Grade
January 23 – Reading
January 25 – Math

STUDENT PICK UP AND TRANSPORTATION CALLS
Due to the length of the car line and being able to exit the school, we are asking that no student be checked out after 2:00 pm. Also, if you need to change your child’s transportation, please call the office before 2:00 pm. Thank you.

LOST AND FOUND ITEMS WILL BE GIVEN TO GOOD WILL
The lost and found area is located in the cafeteria. Students can come and check for lost items during their lunch break.  Parents feel free to come and check the lost and found. There are a lot of clothes and lunch boxes that will be taken to Good Will January 18th.

SCHOOL SPIRIT NIGHT AT ELIZABETH’S PIZZA
Come out and enjoy some pizza while raising money for the BCS Weight Room. Spirit night is held every 4th Monday of the month at 5:30 and 10% of all proceeds go the BCS. The next Spirit Nights will be held on January 28th, February 25th, March 25th, April 22nd and May 27th, from 5:00 to 9:00 pm.

8th GRADE DANCE
It is time to plan for the 8th grade dance to celebrate our wonderful 8th graders as they transition from middle school to high school. Assistance is needed with food, planning, décor and photos. ON-LINE LUNCH ORDERING REMINDER
In order for your child to receive lunch through the ORGS system, you have to order the week before and no later than midnight Thursday. If your order does not go through please call the school and get a paper menu for your child.
