STUDENT AFTERNOON CHECK-OUT
Please remember that students are not to be checked out from school after 2:00pm.  This is to ensure that students are not missing important class time as well as not slowing down our afternoon dismissal. 

SUBSTITUTE TEACHER POSITIONS
We are expanding our pool of available substitute teachers. If you are interested, or know anyone who may be interested, please visit the Substitute Employment page on the school website (www.bcschoolnc.org/substitute) or contact the main office. Candidates complete an application and security steps prior to being considered for hiring.

NC MATH 1 NC CHECK-IN
Students who are currently enrolled in NC Math 1 will complete their first NC Math 1 NC Check-In assessment on Tuesday, November 19. The assessment will begin during 1st period, so we encourage all involved students to be on time and present for this test administration.

STUFF THE TURKEY FOOD DRIVE
Middle school is holding our annual “Stuff The Turkey” food drive. The food drive will be from now until November 18th. The teams that will competing English and Math vs. Social Studies and Science. The prize for the winning team is to be announced. Here are a few suggested items: rice, oatmeal, cereals, pasta, canned fruit, canned fish, canned meat, canned vegetables, juice boxes, dry milk, peanut butter, canned pasta sauces, dry or canned beans, and boxed dinners (hamburger helper, macaroni and cheese, and taco kits). Thank you to all that participate. 

ATHLETIC BOOSTER CLUB NEWS
Thank you to everyone that participated in the Mrs. Pumpkin’s fundraiser.  Order delivery/pick-up is on Tuesday, Nov 19th (3:00-6:00 pm). Congratulations to the top three sellers and prize winners! 1st place-Jordan Vincent, 2nd place-Justin Pegram, 3rd place-Dakota Mabe.

BOOK FAIR UPDATE
Thanks to everyone who visited our Book Fair! We reached our goal of over $2500 in sales!!!! Because of you, a child can continue to read, as more books are added to personal and classroom libraries as well as the school media center!  Thanks again for all your support!

BASEBALL WORKOUTS
High School – Tuesdays and Thursdays – 3:30 – 5:30
Middle School – Wednesdays – 3:30 – 5:30
Players must have current sports physical and concussion form on file with the school to participate.
Workouts will be at Pearman Ballpark. Parents are to pick up at Pearman Ballpark.
