FALL SPORTS BANQUET
We will be celebrating our fall sports, including middle school and high school volleyball and soccer on Tuesday November 5th,  5:30- 7:00pm in the BCS Cafeteria. Please bring a covered dish, dessert, or drink to share. Also, any athlete who has not turned in their jersey, please wash and return to Ms. Rodgers or Mr. Joyce. 

STUDENT AFTERNOON CHECK-OUT
Please remember that students are not to be checked out from school after 2:00pm.  This is to ensure that students are not missing important class time as well as not slowing down our afternoon dismissal. 

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We need volunteers to help in the lunch-room on Fridays to help pass out lunches and other items. We need help from 11:20am to 1:15pm every Friday.

STUDENT-LED CONFERENCES & WALK THE SCHEDULE NIGHT
Next Thursday, November 7, the school will be participating in student-led conferences for middle school students and walk-the-schedule night for high school.  Student-led conferences for middle school will be from 6:00-7:00pm and gives students the opportunity to share their work in all of their classes with their family.  Walk-the-schedule will be from 7:00-8:00pm and gives parents the opportunity to visit their students’ high school classes and hear what their students have been learning during the first quarter. 

PROCTORS FOR HIGH SCHOOL REQUESTED
Our Grade 10 students will participate in the PreACT on Thursday, November 14. Proctors are required for this exam. If you are interested in proctoring, please visit the school website and complete the PreACT Proctor Survey. Mr. Walton will communicate additional information once you have registered to proctor. 

PTSO GENERAL SESSION MEETING
You’re invited to our first PTSO meeting, which is scheduled for Monday, November 4th at 6:30 p.m. We look forward to seeing you there and planning how we can support our BCS families this year. We will meet in the BCS Commons.

ATHLETIC BOOSTER CLUB NEWS
Hope you are selling lots of Mrs. Pumpkin’s pies!  Order forms and money are due back by Friday, November 8.  And great prizes will be awarded to the top three sellers: 1st place-Apple Beats by Dr. Dre wireless headphones, 2nd place-$50 VISA gift card, 3rd place-$25 VISA gift card!

FALL BOOK FAIR — SAVE THE DATE
Our fall Scholastic Book Fair will be here November 4-12.  We are in desperate need of volunteers. Please call the office if you are available to help. Online orders can begin October 30 and run to the end of the Book Fair, November 12. 

LOST AND FOUND
Misplaced that new jacket or lunchbox? If your student has left anything at school, please have them look in the lost and found for their lost items.  Any items left in the lost and found after November 1st will be donated to Goodwill.

BASEBALL WORKOUTS
High School – Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:30 – 5:30
Middle School – Wednesdays 3:30 – 5:30
Players must have current sports physical and concussion form on file with the school to participate.
Workouts will be at Pearman Ballpark. Parents are to pick up at Pearman Ballpark.
